Wings of love sets a woman and a giant white rooster in a single embrace. She reclines back against the bird in a red dress, long brown hair falling loose, one bare arm reaching up while the rooster curls its wing and red-combed head around her. Its orange feet and red comb pick up the red of her dress, so the two almost share one colour. Behind them Roman Zuzuk lays out a calm green countryside, a few white cottages with red roofs and a scatter of round dark trees under a soft blue sky. It is oil on canvas from 2014, 51 by 41 centimetres, with the artist's signature and date at the lower right. Tender and a little absurd, in the folk-tale spirit that runs through his work.
