Sympathy holds a person and a rooster in a tight hug. A figure in a brown coat wraps both arms around a big white cockerel with a red comb, the two faces pressed together, while the bird's white wing curls over the man's shoulder. They stand on a brown rise; behind, a yellow field runs up to a white red-roofed house, round green trees and a curl of blue stream. Roman Zuzuk painted this encaustic on canvas in 2011, 43 by 41 centimetres.
