The best and the safest way of packing is to disassemble the frame and structure and pack them together with rolled canvas on a tube protected with bubble rap with cardboard.

If it can’t be rolled, the stretched painting with the frame is protected with bubble rap, cardboard or chipboard. Paintings on paper are usually packed in cardboard envelopes.
