A man hoists his sweetheart clean over his head in My love, an oil on canvas from 2019. She lies stretched out across his hands in a blue patterned tunic, bare legs kicking up, while he tips his head back and laughs. A black-and-white cat plays at his feet. The couple stand in a green field edged with a row of red tulips, two small round trees behind them, against a plain reddish-brown sky. Zuzuk keeps the scale of the figures large and the joy plain. It is an upright canvas, 32 by 41 centimetres.
