A red and cream Prague tram comes down the wet rails on a darkening evening, the heart of this 2024 oil on canvas. Shop windows along the right glow warm amber, one of them set into a green Art-Nouveau facade, and their light spills across the slick road in long reflections. Parked cars line the kerb and a second tram waits further back under the overhead wires. Slutsker keeps the whole street loose and atmospheric, the paint thickest where the lamps and headlights catch the rain. At 75 by 55 centimetres, it is Vodičkova Street caught at that blue hour when the city lights take over.
