Bicycles lean against a low railing in front of a doorway buried under cascading flowers. The Rest is an oil on canvas by Alexey Slusar from 2020, an upright canvas at 125 by 52 centimetres.

The flowers tumble down across the top of the picture in reds, purples and whites against dark green leaves, with a warm light glowing from a window and doorway behind. Below, the bikes are painted in cool blue-grey, their frames and wheels overlapping in the shadow. The contrast of the lit, flowered wall above and the dim, blue bikes below gives the corner its quiet, end-of-day mood.
