Dancer catches a flamenco dancer from behind, mid-movement, her arms raised and crossed above her head. Alexey Slusar painted it in oil on canvas in 2023, a tall canvas at 105 by 70 centimetres.

She wears a deep red dress that flares out below the hip, with a large red flower pinned in her dark hair. The background is almost black, scored with vertical streaks, and flecks of orange paint are flung across the whole surface like sparks. The brushwork in the skirt is fast and loose, which gives the figure its sense of motion.
