The King and the Jester is a lively watercolour by Roman Zuzuk from 2024. A jester in a red flowered tunic and a pink-and-white checked cap bows and clowns toward a seated king at the right, who wears a gold crown and a teal jacket and watches with a long, doubtful face. A yellow spotted cat, like a small leopard, sits at the king's side. The two stand on a bare brown floor against a mottled grey wall. It measures 57.5 by 42 centimetres.
