In an open ochre field a man in a brown coat and boots lunges forward to take hold of a big white hen with a red crest, the pair caught mid-step as if dancing. To the left a woman in green sits playing a red accordion, and far off on the right two horses graze under a line of small trees on the hill. Dance with Chicken is an oil on canvas from 2002, 50 by 40 centimetres, painted by Roman Zuzuk with loose, sketchy strokes and that grinning, simplified face he gives so many of his figures.
