A dense patch of garden in soft, diffused light, more about colour and texture than any single plant. Pink and red blossoms cluster in the upper half, a drift of blue flowers runs across the lower foreground, and dark green foliage closes in from both sides. Slutsker lets the whole surface break up into thick, scattered marks of the knife, so the garden reads almost as a shimmer of cool blues and warm pinks rather than tidy beds. Oil on canvas, upright at 75 by 90 centimetres, painted in 2024.
