The standing person, wrapped in pale cloth and cradling a small bird, is rendered as interlocking puzzle pieces, with two cells left empty as dark gaps. Behind, in cooler blue-greys, are bare trees and a low villa. Alexandrov hand-colours the etched plate so the figure carries warmer tan and orange against the muted ground.
