Painters keep returning to musicians, maybe because both crafts run on rhythm. Here are the works in our catalogue that play something: violinists and street bands by Roman Zuzuk, night-club jazz by Mikhail Mikora, a shelf of vinyl painted with the patience of a still life.

Zuzuk's musicians are warm and a little absurd, closer to folk tales than to concert halls. Mikora's Round Midnight and Blue Shadow take the opposite road: late light, long shadows, oil on canvas handled like a slow ballad.
