A standing female nude, seen from the thighs up, built almost entirely from dense, overlapping drypoint lines. The body lifts out of a black, busily patterned background, with light catching the breasts and one side of the torso while the rest dissolves into shadow. There is no face, no setting beyond the abstract dark, just the figure and the burr of the needle. Pulled in black and white, signed Alexandrov and dated 2000, numbered 49/100. A small upright sheet, the plate about 10.5 by 16 centimetres.
