Seen from behind, a woman walks in a dress whose top half is brushed in slate blue and grey and whose skirt drops into a deep rose red. Olga Vasilyeva builds The Walking Girl from broad wet strokes that bleed into one another, the bare arms and shoulders left pale against the paper. Her hair is gathered loosely up. A watercolour from 2015, upright at 33 by 70 centimetres.
