About the artwork

A New Year's greeting plate, PF 2010. Snow falls on a narrow Prague lane that runs between tall houses toward a cluster of Gothic spires. In the foreground three carol singers stand in paper crowns trimmed with stars, the Three Kings, and one holds up a star on a pole. Etched dark, with snow and stars left bright. Gennadij Alexandrov pencil-signed it Praha, PF 2010 and dated 2009. About 10 by 12.5 cm.
