Flora 2024 shows a young woman sitting cross-legged and nude on dark ground, a wreath of small flowers in her hair and round glasses on her face. She leans slightly forward, hands clasped in her lap, while pale blossoms are scattered like stars across the grass below her and the background stays a deep, grainy dark.
Gennadij Alexandrov builds the tone with aquatint and several etched plates, leaving her skin soft and lit. Numbered 6/500, inscribed "Flora 2024, C3, C5, C6", and pencil-signed, 2024. Roughly 14.5 by 20.5 centimetres.
