A saxophonist caught mid-phrase, head tipped back, eyes shut, lost in the playing. Mikhail Mikora builds the figure in acrylic and collage on paper, a white shirt loosened over blues and reds, the brass horn catching glints of light down its length. The background is cool blue and teal on the left, warming into deep red on the right, and printed fragments from the paper underneath come through, including the words "THE FLAVOUR OF SUCCESS" running up the side. The brushwork is quick and confident, more about movement and sound than tidy detail.
