Winter symphony is almost entirely blue: a flat icy-blue ground and sky, with one long shadow cast across the snow. Three people are finishing a snowman in the middle. A man in a dark purple coat bends to press the lower ball into place, a child in a yellow hat reaches up to set an arm on, and another child in a red hat crouches at the foot. The snowman wears a striped knit cap, a red scarf and a small grey mitten, with a carrot nose and a coal smile. Dima Dmitriev painted this oil on canvas in 2023, 90 by 100 centimetres.
