A companion shelf piece in oil on canvas, long and low. Vinyl sleeves stand crammed along both ends, their edges flickering with red, blue and cream. In the middle a black record lies flat with a glowing yellow label at its centre, set beside a dark album cover. A trumpet lies across the front edge of the shelf. Mikora works the paint thick and dragged, so the records and dividers blur into one another. At 135 centimetres across, it pairs naturally with the first Jazz Shelf.
