A glass vase of mixed wildflowers, painted thick in oil on canvas. Pink roses sit at the heart of the bunch, ringed by white daisies, sprigs of yellow, and tall purple spikes that lean out to the sides. Mikora loads the brush so the flowers come up in textured clots of colour against a soft grey wall. A single purple stem trails down across the pale table below the vase. Modest at 48 by 60 centimetres, it is a fresh, summery arrangement with plenty of paint.
How it looks in a room
The wildflower bouquet in a glass vase hangs over a beige sofa, its soft pinks and greens sitting comfortably with the mustard and rust cushions below. It shows the still life at home in a relaxed living room.
