About the artwork

St Nicholas, devil and angel again, this time on the Old Town Square at night. A tall lit tower stands on the left and the twin spires of the Tyn church rise across the square, while a knot of small figures, some in procession, fills the snowy foreground under a star-flecked black sky. This etching is upright, about 6.7 by 10.6 centimetres. Signed Praha, Alexandrov 2024.
