A woman lies on her back, head tipped back to the right and one arm reaching down past her hip. She wears a cropped top and briefs in blue-grey, the rest of the skin warm and bare against the white sheet. Olga Vasilyeva paints Sleep Approaches in quick, wet strokes, the legs and arms loosely suggested rather than finished. A watercolour from 2016, wide and low at 70 by 33 centimetres.
