About the artwork

Suddenly, it occurred to me that retro shoes should be paired with a modern sauce. Perhaps that’s why everything feels so vague and unspecific. Or maybe it’s because these shoes are long gone, leaving only memories behind. These memories are as ethereal as dreams—just impressions, fleeting sensations of something distant and unclear. Was it real, or wasn’t it?
