Slutsker's street scene centres on a horse-drawn carriage, two horses harnessed and a covered cab, rolling along a wet road after rain. On the left a corner building has a rounded turret and a striped café awning over its lit windows, while behind the carriage a large pale building with rows of dormers closes off the view. Slim bare trees stand in a line down the middle of the street, and the foreground is all dark, glistening reflection. The paint is loose and a little impressionistic, the sky brushed in soft greys and the lit shopfront giving off a warm amber glow. It is an oil on canvas from 2025, 75 by 60 centimetres, signed lower right.
