Slutsker paints the corner where Prague's Municipal House meets the Powder Tower, on a wet, overcast day. The ornate Art Nouveau facade of the Municipal House fills the right side, with its glass and metal dome, sculpted reliefs and a dark canopied entrance, while the tall Gothic Powder Tower rises grey and intricate just beyond it. Small figures move along the pavement and the wet road in the foreground throws back soft reflections.

The palette is mostly cool stone-grey and cream, with a little warm light at the entrance and a few touches of red and yellow on the passers-by. It is an upright oil on canvas, 50 by 70 centimetres, from 2024, the brushwork loose and the damp light flattening everything to a quiet silver.
