An airy, near-translucent still life in acrylic and collage on paper. Mikora sketches a tall jug, a slim vase, a couple of footed bowls and a pear in thin dark lines, leaving the white paper to do much of the work. A pale spray of yellow and pink colour gathers at the centre, and a curl of red drawing sits inside one of the dishes. There is a worked figure standing among the glassware too, drawn small. The light, washed-out palette and open ground give it the feel of early morning, which the title leans into.
