Two figures press close together in front of a band of blue water and low brown hills, their golden bodies almost fused. A red violin with a clear scroll and f-holes rests against them, held between the pair as they lean cheek to cheek. The palette runs through warm tan and red figures against turquoise and violet behind. Melody is a small square oil on canvas, 25 by 25 centimetres, painted by Roman Zuzuk in 2010. The drawing is flowing and the two lovers and the instrument read as one tender, music-filled shape.
