A tall, narrow plate printed in warm sepia, with most of the image given over to a vast speckled winter sky. Down at the bottom Gennadij Alexandrov tucks in the rooftops of Lysá nad Labem, a small church tower among snow-covered houses and a line of trees. The aquatint grain does the heavy lifting here, turning the sky into a soft fall of snow over the sleeping town. Signed in pencil and dated 2008. Small, roughly 6.4 by 13.5 cm.
