A nude woman sits on the floor with her knees drawn up and her head bowed against them, her face hidden behind dark hair. Light falls cool and pale across her back, shins and bare feet, the rest sinking into a soft grey-blue dusk. Across the wall behind, the words love me repeat in a faint white line, and a chain hangs down at the left edge. Shulman keeps the painting hushed and a little desolate. Oil on canvas, 2024, a wide 60 by 40 centimetres.
