A bright, sun-washed view down a narrow Prague lane, with a red corner building on the left carrying old shop signs, including one reading Liliova, and a domed Baroque church curving out into the street on the right. A cyclist and a couple of pedestrians make their way over the pale cobbles, and church towers and domes rise into a hazy white sky beyond. Slutsker keeps the light high and the shadows long and cool, the paint thick and quick. Oil on canvas, a square 65 by 65 centimetres, from 2016.
