About the artwork

A small black-and-white etching of the riverside at Kampa, in Prague. A little white sailboat sits on the water in the foreground; behind it stand leafy trees, a hipped-roof pavilion, and the towers and the great dome of St Nicholas rising over the rooftops. Gennadij Alexandrov fills the plate with dense, fine line. Signed in pencil, titled Praha, dated 2024.
