A row of old houses along a quiet canal on Kampa, their pale facades and tiled roofs catching the sun while their reflections waver in the dark green water below. A small weir and a footbridge sit at the left, and overhanging leaves frame the scene from the near bank. Slutsker plays bright sunlit walls against the deep shadow of the water, the brushwork loose and the light doing most of the work. Oil on canvas, upright at 45 by 60 centimetres, from 2025. A snug, slightly hidden corner of Prague rather than a grand view.
