Ideal Woman is one of Roman Zuzuk's gentle visual puns. A red-haired woman in a white dress and red shoes stands smiling, but instead of a hat she balances an entire green landscape on her head, complete with a domed roof, little trees and a house, while two doves fly past in the grey sky. Around her waist, in place of a skirt, is a white table laid with cups and a glass holding fruit. Painted in oil on paper in 2025, an upright 23 by 30.5 centimetres, the joke runs on quietly without ever being explained.
