This etching is printed in a soft sepia and reads almost like an old book illustration. In the foreground, turned three-quarters away, a young woman in Renaissance dress holds a small bird in her cupped hands, her hair gathered in a draped cap. Behind her an arcaded chateau courtyard opens up, its two storeys of arches receding to a corner tower, with a lute player standing among the planted beds below and a clouded sky overhead.

Gennadij Alexandrov inscribes it "Zámek" at lower left and signs it, the edition numbered. About 14.5 by 20 centimetres.
