This is a night view of Charles Bridge in Prague, looking along the deck towards the old town and the bridge tower. Roman Zuzuk paints the scene after dark, with the stone parapets receding in shadow and the buildings beyond lit a warm amber, their windows glowing. A spire and several towers rise against a deep blue-grey sky, and the wet surface of the Vltava catches reflections of the lamps. A small horse and cart stands on the bridge. Oil on canvas from 2020, a compact 41 by 36 centimetres. The handling is soft and atmospheric, more about the evening light than any single landmark.
