Two girls in white summer dresses stand close together on a beach, seen from behind, their arms looped around each other. Both wear wide straw hats tied with bright red ribbons, and long brown hair falls down their backs. In front of them the sea is a deep, saturated blue with the pale line of the horizon high in the frame, and their bare feet rest on a thin strip of wet sand. Carefree Times is a small square oil on canvas, 60 by 60 centimetres, painted by Dima Dmitriev in 2022.
