Blooming childood shows a girl from behind, standing in a field thick with small lilac and white flowers. She wears a blue dress and white sun hat and holds a tied bundle of cut lavender stems against her chest. The background is a wall of green foliage, and the blossoms swirl up behind her in a pale fan, painted by Dima Dmitriev in dense, dabbed strokes that give the whole field its texture. Oil on canvas, 2024, nearly square at 95 by 100 centimetres.
