Igor Shulman paints a nude woman from behind, standing in an open doorway with bright white light flooding in beyond her. Her long dark hair hangs loose down her back, and a heavy dark door frame closes off the right edge, its metal handle catching a little shine. The contrast between her warmly modelled skin and the glare of the doorway gives the figure real weight. Oil on canvas, 2017, 90 by 100 centimetres.
