Painted almost entirely in red, this oil shows a woman sitting on the floor with her knees pulled up and her arms folded over them, head bowed so her hair falls forward. Light pools on her shins and bare feet while the rest of her dissolves into the dark surroundings. A few faint objects, what look like a bag and shoes, sit off to the sides in the gloom.
