Roman Zuzuk has fun with the rules here. A round-faced man in folk dress plays a red accordion, and balanced on his arm is a tiny woman in a red dress, arms thrown up mid-dance. Above them two fat green fish drift through a golden-yellow sky as if swimming were the most natural thing to do up there. It is painted in watercolour, in that naive, dreamlike style where gravity and scale are happily ignored. The colours are bright and folk-tale warm. Strange and cheerful in equal measure, and hard to look at without grinning.
